Job Summary
To influence technical decisions in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will lead the architecture and strategy of Platform Services, focusing on Kubernetes-based deployment systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of Platform Services for FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
- Design and enhance platform capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines and federal promotion automation
- Drive automation of operational processes to improve reliability and deployment consistency
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Operations with technical leadership experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or similar languages, along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS in production environments
- Proven ability to build platform tooling and self-service solutions that enhance developer experience
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and experience in regulated environments like FedRAMP High or GovCloud
