Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior DevSecOps Engineer will manage the patching of RedHat Enterprise Linux operating systems using AWS automation tools, while collaborating with scrum team members to implement DevOps culture and maintain essential DevSecOps functions in a remote or hybrid environment if local to Maryland.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the patching of RedHat Enterprise Linux across the ecosystem using AWS automation tools
- Install, configure, and maintain tools for source control, continuous integration, deployment, and security functions
- Lead a team of system administrators and serve as a point of escalation for technical issues
Required qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a system administrator
- 5 to 7 years of experience with DevOps tools and supporting applications on AWS
- Experience working on Agile projects and large-scale projects interacting with multiple teams
- Familiarity with various containerization tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
