Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on Linux and DB2 Administration, the full-time Senior DevSecOps Engineer will provide technical operational support and maintenance of production applications and middleware platforms in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrator support across RHEL 8, JBoss, WebSphere, and Nginx, including SSL/TLS certificate renewals and configuration hardening
- Lead security compliance work, including evidence gathering for ATO and monitoring application and infrastructure health
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing systems and applications on Linux operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or a relevant computer-based major (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with deployment and maintenance of Red Hat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Informix components
- Experience with scripting or coding using Bash or Python
- Strong networking knowledge, including HTTP, SMTP, firewall, DNS, and TCP/IP concepts
