Senior Director of Analytical Chemistry

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time Senior Director of Analytical Chemistry will manage analytical development for small molecule pipelines, establish robust CMC analytical methods, and oversee external CDMO partners while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead analytical development and material characterization for compounds at various development phases
• Establish phase-appropriate strategies for analytical methods, including solid-state characterization and impurity profiling
• Serve as the technical authority to resolve complex analytical deviations and oversee external partners in method development and validation

Required qualifications:

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a physical science field, preferably analytical chemistry
• 12 years of experience in analytical chemistry focused on small molecule testing
• Experience with early development activities, including IND-enabling development
• Preferred experience supervising outsourced biological sample analysis using LC-MS/MS in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Expertise in analytical technologies such as LC, GC, NMR, and MS
