Senior Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

Leading a team of biometrics professionals, the full-time Senior Director of Biostatistics will provide strategic oversight for clinical development programs, managing statistical activities for clinical trials, including trial design contributions, statistical analysis plans, and regulatory submissions, while working in a remote environment with occasional in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the biometrics team, providing statistical input for study design, protocol development, and regulatory interactions
• Promote innovative statistical methods and ensure high-quality data through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Oversee vendor interactions and ensure accurate and timely deliverables for statistical analyses and regulatory documents

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with 10-12 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and experience with regulatory submissions
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS or R and familiarity with CDSIC standards
• Successful track record of working independently in a matrixed organization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
