Senior Director of Care Management

Job Summary

To lead and oversee care management operations within a managed care organization, the temporary Senior Director of Health Plan Care Management will manage a department of approximately 40-50 employees, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and optimize the use of the HealthEdge platform while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and stabilize a care management department through periods of change
• Oversee daily care management functions and ensure effective coordination of member care
• Monitor operational performance and support staff development to promote excellence

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care administration
• 3+ years of supervisory and management experience
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for health plans or healthcare systems (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization
