Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology
Job Summary
Leading the technical and operational aspects of the department, the remote Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology will manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support drug development programs across infectious disease and oncology, while developing clinical pharmacology strategies and overseeing regulatory submissions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee clinical pharmacology and translational PK/PD operations across all stages of development
- Represent clinical pharmacology as a technical expert on project teams and provide strategic input for program advancement
- Manage and develop the Clinical Pharmacology and Translational PK/PD team, including hiring and mentoring
Required qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, or MD with 13+ years of industry experience in Clinical Pharmacology, DMPK, or related fields
- Expertise in PK/PD, PopPK, and exposure-response modeling
- Extensive experience leading translational and clinical pharmacology work from candidate selection through market authorization
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and experience with regulatory submissions
- Experience with biologics, including monoclonal antibodies and bispecifics, preferred
