Senior Director of Early Childhood

Job Summary

Leading large strategic planning and systems design engagements, the full-time Senior Director of Early Childhood will advise clients in the early childhood sector, manage complex projects, and develop team members while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi-workstream engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence while serving as the main advisor to senior client leaders
• Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement processes to build consensus and move diverse groups toward aligned decisions
• Coach and develop project teams, providing guidance and feedback to enhance consulting and stakeholder management skills

Required qualifications

• Ten years of relevant experience in management consulting, public policy, government, or philanthropy, with a focus on leading client engagements
• Five years of experience managing and developing teams at increasing levels of responsibility
• Proven track record of leading strategic planning processes from design through adoption
• Deep expertise in early childhood programs, policy, and funding structures
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
