Senior Director of Information Security

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity initiative, the full-time Senior Director of Information Security will manage a scalable security program for a diverse portfolio of SaaS products, collaborating with various teams to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering-first security architecture and DevSecOps practices across multiple business units
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, and modernization of the Security Operations Center (SOC) to enhance cyber resiliency
• Drive continuous compliance automation and maintain an auditable enterprise Risk Register to support regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security, with a focus on cloud and software platform security
• 6+ years of direct people leadership experience in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, and container orchestration technologies
• Proven ability to communicate complex security risks to C-suite executives and lead through influence in a decentralized operating model
