Senior Director of Information Security

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity initiative, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Information Security will manage a scalable security program for a diverse portfolio of SaaS products, collaborating with various teams to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architecture and DevSecOps practices to enhance application security and compliance
• Lead incident response efforts and modernize the Security Operations Center, optimizing detection and threat hunting capabilities
• Foster collaboration across business units by embedding security teams within product development and establishing training programs for secure coding practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 12+ years of leadership experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security and software platform security
• 6+ years of direct people leadership experience in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology companies
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and security automation tools
• Strong ability to communicate complex security risks in business terms to C-suite executives and stakeholders
