Senior Director of Information Security

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity initiative, the full-time Senior Director of Information Security will manage a scalable, business-aligned security program for a diverse portfolio of SaaS products while collaborating with multiple teams to balance strategic planning and operational execution in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of security architecture and DevSecOps practices to enhance platform security
• Direct incident response efforts and the modernization of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including threat detection and crisis management
• Lead continuous compliance automation initiatives and maintain an auditable enterprise Risk Register to support regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security, including significant focus on cloud security and incident response
• 6+ years of direct people leadership experience in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology companies
• Demonstrated hands-on engineering background in AWS cloud infrastructure and container orchestration
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex security risks to C-suite executives and Board Audit Committees
