Senior Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading the security organization, the full-time Senior Director of Information Security will drive the enterprise-wide execution of cyber risk strategy, align security operations with business objectives, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee continuous security operations, incident response readiness, and threat intelligence, serving as the primary Incident Commander during critical events
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed enterprise risk frameworks and security-by-design principles into consumer applications and data architectures
• Lead and scale a high-performing security team, fostering accountability and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security, managing multi-disciplinary security functions
• Extensive experience in driving security strategy within cloud-native, high-scale, consumer-facing technology organizations
• Demonstrated authority in commanding enterprise-level critical incidents and orchestrating cross-functional alignment
• Proven capability to negotiate SLAs and drive risk management priorities across engineering teams
• Deep understanding of global privacy, security, and compliance frameworks relevant to sensitive consumer data
