Senior Director of Medical Communications

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic partner to the SVP of Global Medical Affairs, the full-time Senior Director of Medical Communications will design and deliver integrated communications strategies that elevate the medical organization's impact and reputation within the broader commercialization framework.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-channel communications plans to inform stakeholders about Medical's mission and strategic priorities
• Provide executive communications counsel and support to the SVP of Global Medical and the Global Medical Leadership Team
• Drive employee engagement and high performance by creating communications that motivate understanding of the company's mission and culture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 12 years of relevant communications experience, particularly in pharmaceuticals or biotech
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible communications
• Proven track record in executive communications and stakeholder engagement
• Strong familiarity with digital communications and social media platforms
