Senior Director of Pharmacovigilance

Job Summary

To support the operational aspects of pharmacovigilance and compliance, the full-time remote Senior Director of Pharmacovigilance will manage the company's infrastructure, oversee safety operations strategy, and build relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring adherence to global regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive global PV Operations strategy, including planning and implementation in alignment with the Head of DSPV
• Serve as a key advisor on operational risk and resource allocation, managing the DSPV Operations budget and vendor contracts
• Lead talent strategy for PV Operations, including hiring, development, and performance management of staff

Required qualifications

• Healthcare or life sciences degree required; advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, RN, MPH, or scientific PhD) preferred
• 15+ years of pharmacovigilance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing global PV teams
• Experience with clinical and commercial lifecycle phases
• Demonstrated experience managing PV Operations through multiple Health Authority inspections
• Deep knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines
