Senior Director of Project Valuation
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and analytical professional, the full-time hybrid Senior Director of Project Valuation will manage financial evaluations, modeling, and strategic analytics for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, supporting investment decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and oversight of detailed financial models for utility-scale solar and BESS projects
- Evaluate project economics, including revenue modeling and financing structures, to support investment decisions
- Build and lead a high-performing valuation and analytics team while establishing best practices for financial modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in renewable energy finance, infrastructure investing, or energy analytics
- Significant experience modeling utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy incentives, project finance, and power markets
- Advanced financial modeling skills, particularly in Excel or equivalent tools
