Senior Director of R&D Resource Management

Job Summary

As a strategic leader, the Senior Director of R&D Resource Management will define and execute the global R&D Resource Management vision and strategy while managing a full-time salaried role that bridges various functional lines and utilizes advanced analytics and AI for resource demand forecasting, all in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and lead the multi-year strategic vision and operating standards for Resource Management across R&D functions
• Oversee the application of AI and Machine Learning models to enhance FTE demand forecasting accuracy and optimize Planisware algorithms
• Direct a team to analyze resource supply versus demand, identifying functional constraints and managing workload balancing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology R&D or clinical operations management
• 6-8 years of hands-on leadership in enterprise Resource Management or Portfolio Analytics within a pharmaceutical enterprise
• Proven experience with Planisware enterprise portfolio management software and architecting resource management solutions
• Outstanding communication skills with a track record of synthesizing complex analytics for executive audiences
