Leading the Scientific Affairs team, the full-time Senior Director of Scientific Affairs will drive operational considerations for RFPs and bid defense meetings while managing global third-party lab relationships in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational strategies and metrics for clinical studies
- Support business development by representing lab operations in pre-award meetings and proposal development
- Mentor and train team members on strategy and specifications for clinical research studies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences; PhD preferred
- 15+ years of experience in the CRO/lab industry or equivalent
- Proven leadership in managing a global laboratory network and multi-site operations
- Experience in operational protocol analysis and budget review
- Strong background in clinical development and operational execution of clinical trials
