Senior Director of Security

Job Summary

Leading a proactive security initiative, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Security will manage product and platform security, driving application and cloud security while collaborating closely with engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enable the business to integrate security into the product portfolio by leveraging AI, automation, and innovation
• Own security platform engineering, establishing shared services and guardrails for product teams
• Drive application and cloud security programs, ensuring vulnerability SLAs are met and maintaining a comprehensive view of security posture

Required qualifications

• Experience managing a multi-team security engineering organization
• Depth in cloud-native security, including infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline security
• Proven ability to shift security left through self-service and paved roads
• Strong peer relationships with senior engineering leaders, influencing product development practices
• Background in engineering or software development, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-native environment
