Job Summary
Leading product development teams in a hybrid remote environment, the full-time Senior Director of Software Engineering will drive the transformation of software engineering practices, optimize tools and processes, and leverage artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the transformation of software engineering practices to improve productivity and implement automation
- Foster close partnerships with Product Management, Design, Security, and Cloud Operations to make collaborative business decisions
- Build and restructure a global software engineering organization while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, and GovRAMP standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Proven track record of managing large software engineering teams and driving transformation initiatives
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence and automation for global software deployment
- Strong understanding of cost management and cloud spending optimization
- Deep experience in EdTech, SaaS, or technology-enabled services, particularly in complex transformation contexts
