Senior Director, Oncology

Job Summary

To lead early-phase clinical trial initiatives, the full-time Senior Director, Oncology will manage strategic vision and operational execution for the late-stage oncology portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and articulate the strategic vision for Early Phase Program Management, ensuring alignment with Clinical Operations and broader R&D goals
• Oversee the execution and operational delivery of complex global early-phase clinical trials, managing budgets and timelines effectively
• Establish collaborative partnerships across various departments and external organizations to enhance trial execution and governance

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.S., or equivalent) in a life sciences or healthcare-related discipline preferred
• Proven track record in delivering complex clinical trials, particularly in early-phase oncology
• Significant experience in leadership roles within clinical operations in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage clinical trial budgets and timelines for governance review
• Experience in direct line management, including leadership of people managers
