Senior Director, U.S. Policy

Job Summary

Driving BMS's commercial policy strategy, the full-time Senior Director, U.S. Policy will manage initiatives related to pharmacy benefit managers, health insurance reform, and market access, while serving as a key external representative with stakeholders and policymakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee BMS's multi-year commercial policy strategy, focusing on PBM reform and market access
• Engage internal partners to translate operational insights into actionable policy options and advocacy priorities
• Represent BMS in trade associations and coalitions, shaping industry positions on commercial policy issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, health policy, political science, economics, public health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in health policy, government affairs, or related fields with significant leadership responsibility
• Deep expertise in PBM and commercial payer policy, with a proven track record of shaping strategy and outcomes
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and policymakers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience advising C-suite or senior leadership audiences
