Senior DME Care Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the delivery of durable medical equipment for injured workers, the full-time Senior DME Care Coordinator will manage the referral process from intake to billing in a fully remote environment, collaborating with vendors, providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and enhance service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process complex DME referrals, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to fulfillment
• Coordinate with payors for required authorizations and ensure timely delivery of equipment
• Manage escalated DME cases, providing proactive updates and serving as a resource for team members

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in DME coordination or related healthcare operations
• Strong knowledge of DME processes, authorizations, and vendor coordination
• Proficiency with healthcare systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience handling complex DME cases and mentoring junior staff
