Senior Drupal Developer

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day operations and maintenance of a public website, the full-time Senior Drupal Developer will publish content, implement security updates, and oversee the Change Request process, primarily working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Publish new content, statistical reports, and data visualizations, while designing and building new Drupal templates and layouts
• Apply monthly security patches and updates to maintain the Drupal platform, troubleshooting and resolving site issues as needed
• Manage the Change Request process for deployments, ensuring proper documentation and execution across development and production environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of web development experience, including 3+ years with production Drupal sites (Drupal 9/10 or later)
• Hands-on experience with Drupal core and contributed module security updates on a recurring basis
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Git
• Experience with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, including remediation of accessibility findings
• Familiarity with formal change management processes, including deployment across development, test, and production environments
