Senior Drupal Developer
Job Summary
Serving as the senior technical expert for WCMaaS, the full-time remote Senior Drupal Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal modules while providing Tier 2/3 support and mentoring developers in a secure cloud-based environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal modules, plugins, themes, and workflows
- Lead Drupal core and module upgrades, ensuring code optimization for Akamai delivery and secure coding practices
- Troubleshoot complex Drupal issues and provide guidance on operational best practices to the Government
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of eight years of web development experience, with at least six years in hands-on Drupal development
- Proven experience maintaining and updating modules on Drupal.org
- Expert proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Twig, JavaScript/jQuery, Composer, Drush, and Git
- Working knowledge of Section 508, WCAG 2.x, and the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)
