Senior EDI Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior EDI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software applications focused on HIPAA EDI transactions in the healthcare sector, utilizing C# and AI tools while collaborating with Agile teams.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in Agile scrum teams to size work efforts and deliver iterative value
- Collaborate with internal resources to assess technical specifications and business requirements for new systems
- Triage production issues and develop new processes for HIPAA EDI standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Five to seven years of professional experience in software engineering
- Strong knowledge of software design and development techniques, including Object Oriented Design
- Proficiency in .NET Core, RESTful API, C#, and SQL Server
- Basic knowledge of EDI transactions in the dental and vision insurance industry
