Senior Editor
Job Summary
Providing primary support for assigned brands, the ongoing contract Senior Editor will work remotely, flexing up to 40 hours a week, and is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with editorial standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Support assigned brands and provide backup for the team according to Editorial Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Attend CRT review meetings remotely and contribute to process improvements
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to meet business objectives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences; degree in English, journalism, or communication preferred
- Minimum 5 years of general editorial experience, with at least 2 years in the medical, pharmaceutical, or advertising industry
- Proficient in AMA style and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong understanding of medical/legal systems and regulatory guidelines
- Completion of an editing assessment is required
