Senior Editor

Job Summary

Working remotely on an ongoing contract basis, the Senior Editor will provide primary support for assigned brands, ensure compliance with editorial standards, and collaborate with clients to meet business objectives, with flexible hours up to 40 per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide primary support for assigned brands and back-up support for the editorial team
• Understand and comply with defined standards of review while attending CRT review meetings as needed
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to improve processes and meet business objectives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences; degree in English, journalism, or communication preferred
• Minimum 5 years of general editorial experience, including at least 2 years in the medical, pharmaceutical, or advertising industry
• Proficient in AMA style and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong understanding of medical/legal systems and regulatory guidelines
• Editing assessment will be administered
