Job Summary
To support advanced naval power systems, the full-time Senior Electrical Engineer will develop software for supervisory controls, manage power system modeling projects, and validate models using MATLAB/Simulink, with options for remote work or in-person collaboration in Columbia, SC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software to implement supervisory controls for naval power systems
- Support technical execution of power system modeling and simulation projects
- Build and validate models for real-time simulation environments for hardware-in-the-loop applications
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems and/or microgrids
- Deep expertise with MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with supervisory control methods for maritime power systems
