Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design of advanced space-borne electronic systems, the full-time Senior Electrical Engineer will manage complex printed circuit board layouts using Altium Designer, focusing on high power, high speed, and RF designs in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end PCB layout process for various designs, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with standards
• Translate electrical schematics and system requirements into compact, high-density PCB layouts, optimizing for thermal performance and signal integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct design reviews and generate necessary documentation for fabrication and assembly

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, or 4+ years with a graduate degree (10+ years of experience may substitute for a degree)
• Expert proficiency with Altium Designer as the primary PCB CAD tool
• Demonstrated experience designing complex, multi-layer boards, including high power and high speed digital interfaces
• Hands-on experience with DDR4 and/or DDR5 memory layout and routing
• Working knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and assembly constraints for high power designs
