Job Summary
Owning the execution of electrical power projects, the full-time Senior Electrical Power Engineer will manage project scope, schedule, and budget while performing studies and analyses, directing junior engineers, and communicating directly with clients in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned power system study and design projects from kickoff to final deliverable, including client communication
- Perform and check arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies using ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, and EasyPower
- Lead field data collection efforts and provide construction-phase support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 5 or more years of experience running electrical or power projects in industrial or commercial settings
- Demonstrated project management ability with direct client contact and multiple concurrent deadlines
- PE license or actively working toward it is a strong plus
- Experience with applicable codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA
