Job Summary
Leading complex power system studies, the full-time Senior Electrical Engineer, PE License will manage multiple renewable energy projects remotely, focusing on detailed analyses, system design, and mentoring junior engineers while utilizing advanced tools like ETAP and PSCAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead system studies including short circuit, load flow, and harmonic analysis
- Design collection systems and prepare interconnection application packages
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers while managing project deliverables and client interactions
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or Bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or Canadian P.Eng) license preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ETAP, CDEGS, and CYMCAP
- Minimum two years of experience as a solar PV systems or energy storage electrical engineer
