Senior Electronic CAD Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of high-density printed wiring boards, the full-time Senior Electronic CAD Designer will create complex PWB layouts, assist electrical engineers, and collaborate with senior technical staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist electrical engineers with the design and layout of printed wiring boards (PWBs) and interpret design requirements
• Work on moderate to highly complex PWB designs and documentation with minimal oversight
• Interface with DFM engineers to define fabrication criteria and ensure manufacturability

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate from a technical school in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge
• 10+ years of experience in PWB design or technical drafting with specific tools knowledge
• Detailed knowledge of Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition tools
• Experience with advanced packaging layout techniques such as dynamic wire-bond and 3D die stacking
• Formal education in electronics or electrical circuit theory is preferred
