Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Job Summary
To develop software infrastructure for an advanced modular hardware ecosystem, the full-time Senior Embedded Software / Edge AI Engineer will architect modular software, integrate hardware components, and support real-time applications in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Architect modular software infrastructure to facilitate data movement between VITA 90/VNX+ modules
- Develop production C/C++ software for Embedded Linux and support hardware integration using various interfaces
- Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models into real-time applications on constrained platforms
Required qualifications
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, or PhD 3-5 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Strong production experience with C/C++ for embedded, real-time, or mission-critical systems
- Experience with hardware bring-up, device integration, and low-level hardware interfaces
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing
- Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
