Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a 6+ month remote contract, the successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-quality embedded software for spacecraft and ground systems, focusing on secure communications and low-level software components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable embedded software for spacecraft and ground-based systems
• Implement secure communications capabilities, including encryption and authentication for data links
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and resolve complex issues

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in developing embedded software for high-reliability systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments
• Experience developing low-level components, including device drivers and kernel modules
• Strong collaboration skills and familiarity with modern software development tools and workflows
