Senior Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal support to the People team, the full-time Senior Employment Counsel will advise on employment matters, manage vendor relationships, and work to reduce reliance on outside counsel in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of support for employment legal questions, resolving most matters directly
• Partner with People Business Partners to advise on employee relations, performance management, and terminations
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and HR vendors, ensuring compliance with employment law across jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent law degree with active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction
• 8+ years of employment law experience, including significant in-house experience at a global company
• Deep knowledge of DACH employment law and broad experience across other global jurisdictions
• Experience managing outside counsel and HR vendor relationships
• Track record of advising HR teams directly and translating legal risk into business-pragmatic guidance
