Senior Engine Programmer
Job Summary
To support the development of next-generation games, the contract Senior Engine Programmer will take ownership of critical engineering projects, implementing solutions related to asset loading, platform integration, and performance optimization while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Implement solutions for asset loading, packaging, and platform/console integration
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand technical needs and develop high-quality code
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs associated with technical and design decisions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Professional experience developing games with Unreal Engine
