Senior Engineer, AI & Automation
Job Summary
To drive innovation in retail technology, the full-time remote Senior Engineer, AI & Automation will design, develop, and implement scalable AI and automation solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operations across merchandising, supply chain, and customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop production-grade GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and automation solutions
- Build AI agents and multi-agent workflows integrating enterprise data and business processes
- Implement AI guardrails, security measures, and optimize AI solutions for performance and cost
Required qualifications
- 4-7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or applied AI engineering
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, and software engineering practices
- Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, GenAI, RAG, and embeddings
- Experience with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI APIs or comparable enterprise LLM platforms
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
