Senior Engineer - SCADA Systems

Job Summary

Supporting the standardization, design, implementation, and integration of data center control systems, the full-time Senior Engineer - SCADA Systems will collaborate with design/build teams and vendors to ensure operational outcomes through system design validation, commissioning, and lifecycle support.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and SCADA systems for data centers
• Participate in project design reviews to validate controls systems against engineering standards and operational requirements
• Assist in functional testing and commissioning activities for controls systems, ensuring proper integration with mechanical and electrical infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in data center engineering or industrial control systems
• Experience with the design and integration of BMS, BAS, EPMS, or SCADA systems in complex facilities
• Working knowledge of controls system architectures, SCADA platforms, and commissioning practices
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, or OPC UA
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and vendor teams on complex projects
