Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will define strategy and execution for ML Data Enablement, focusing on enhancing data evaluation velocity and reducing time-to-production for high-value data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a team responsible for data integration, quality, and infrastructure for online inference and offline training
• Set and execute technical strategy aligned with metrics to improve data evaluation velocity and production timelines
• Drive the establishment of data quality frameworks and ownership practices across the data lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 8 years of engineering experience, including 3 years in people management
• Proven experience with production data pipelines for both online inference and offline training
• Experience building and scaling data systems using modern stacks such as Databricks/Spark, Python, SQL, and AWS
• Demonstrated ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives involving engineering and ML stakeholders
• Experience designing data quality frameworks and observability for production systems
