Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
To support the growth of the Marketplace team, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will manage and coach 3-5 engineers while setting the technical vision and developing processes to enhance collaboration in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set the technical vision for the marketplace team and design systems to deliver offers efficiently to users
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their career advancement and collaboration
- Develop processes to ensure consistency and effective teamwork within the remote-first company culture
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing web or mobile applications, particularly in ad tech or consumer products
- 2+ years of experience managing engineers in a remote-first startup environment
- Strong skills in AI and systematic thinking about its application
- A growth mindset with a desire to understand the Marketplace business operations
- Experience or knowledge of government services, especially safety net programs, is a plus
