Job Summary
The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Custody team in developing core custody systems, managing a team of senior engineers, and translating investment ambitions into technical strategies, with the option to work remotely from Canada or the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of senior engineers, fostering a supportive environment
- Own the technical strategy and roadmap, aligning with Mercury's investment goals

Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing highly technical teams
- Direct experience with RIA and broker-dealer custody systems at scale
- Understanding of the broker-dealer operating model and data flow across entities
- Experience collaborating with compliance and operations teams on engineering decisions
- Knowledge of the lifecycle of securities and implications of settlement and corporate actions
