The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will oversee multiple squads focused on member-facing solutions, managing delivery, prioritization, and technical quality while fostering team growth and collaboration with Product Strategists.
Key responsibilities
- Own delivery across squads, including sprint shaping, prioritization, and backlog grooming
- Improve cycle time while maintaining quality and explaining changes to stakeholders
- Stay technical by shipping production work and reviewing architecture within squads
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a management role
- Proven experience developing other leaders or engineers into accountable roles
- Track record of shipping mission-critical software and managing its lifecycle
- Experience with prioritization and estimation for engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with coding in relevant technology stacks, including Ruby, Python, or React
