Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Core Picking engineering team, driving the development of picking technology platforms to enhance shopper experiences and meet the fulfillment needs of major retailers.
Key responsibilities
- Define and communicate the technical vision and strategy that aligns with product goals and business objectives
- Oversee the execution of key business outcomes by managing the engineering roadmap and facilitating technical decisions
- Lead and develop a team of 10+ engineers, fostering best practices for production services and ensuring high-quality delivery
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a management role leading teams of 15+
- Proven track record as a hands-on technical leader, preferably at a Staff+ level in a similar industry
- Experience in crafting and executing strategic engineering roadmaps that support business objectives
- Strong skills in staffing, mentoring, and developing engineering teams
- Effective cross-functional leadership experience, collaborating with product managers and senior engineers
