Senior Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the technical vision for the Data and Event team, oversee the design and implementation of scalable data solutions, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the self-service data platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision and drive strategic outcomes through innovative data solutions
- Oversee the design and implementation of high-throughput data systems to support critical operations
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team while managing multiple concurrent projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in software or data engineering, focusing on large-scale data systems or event-driven architectures
- 5 years of experience leading the design and implementation of scalable data systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- 5 years of experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable application and data infrastructure
- 3 years of experience managing engineering teams and prioritizing multiple technical projects
