Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead and develop a distributed engineering team across Europe, the US, and Canada, focusing on enhancing software security and quality through the CodeQL detection engine and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive a technical roadmap aligned with product goals, prioritizing engineering efforts strategically
• Facilitate communication between teams, resolve dependencies, and ensure seamless integration across products and services
• Guide employee growth and development, manage performance, and maintain the technical expertise of the team

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• 1+ year of experience in people management or leading a technical team
• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and observable systems that meet business and technical requirements
• Strong understanding of software security practices and development methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team across multiple time zones
