Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Cloud Engineering team responsible for regulated and sovereign environments, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency while managing a distributed team across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture and operation of regulated environments across AWS and Azure, focusing on Infrastructure-as-Code and Kubernetes
• Standardize environment builds into repeatable blueprints to facilitate growth without increasing headcount
• Ensure high-quality technical decisions through design reviews and maintain operational practices including documentation and incident response

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in production, including managing environments end to end
• Direct experience with US federal or highly regulated environments, such as FedRAMP
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform or similar tools, and hands-on Kubernetes experience
• Proven track record in leading engineers and managing performance, growth, and hiring
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
