Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will lead a cross-functional team focused on enhancing the core experience of basketball coverage through scorekeeping, live video capture, and coaching tools in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop engineers, establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture of feedback and accountability
• Define delivery goals and collaborate with cross-functional partners to prioritize tasks and manage risks
• Set standards for engineering quality and system reliability, particularly for live in-game workflows

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams and 6+ years in software development
• Technical depth in relevant areas of the technology stack and ability to engage in architecture discussions
• Strong product instincts and ability to build relationships with Product and Design teams
• Active development of AI fluency and commitment to high standards of judgment and ownership
• Experience in hiring and onboarding engineers with a focus on values alignment and skill fit
