Job Summary

Experienced game engineering leaders will find a full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager opportunity focused on managing a senior team of engineers to enhance Zwift's core game loop, ensuring high-quality, engaging features across multiple platforms in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a dedicated team of 6-8 engineers, focusing on coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence
• Provide technical oversight for C++ gameplay systems, ensuring scalable designs and optimal performance across platforms
• Own the end-to-end software development life cycle, championing automated testing and operational excellence for features in a live-service game

Required qualifications

• 4+ years in a software engineering management role, with experience in the games industry
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in game development, particularly with C++
• Strong understanding of game performance, profiling, and multi-platform architecture
• Experience with live-service game features and high production quality standards
• Proven ability to define technical strategy and navigate cross-team dependencies
