Job Summary
The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the delivery of Honeycomb Private Cloud, drive product growth, and lead cross-functional collaborations while managing a high-performing engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Own the delivery of Honeycomb Private Cloud, ensuring operational processes and infrastructure meet enterprise customer needs
- Collaborate with Field Engineering, Support, and Sales to manage customer interactions, including PoCs and security reviews
- Lead and develop a senior engineering team, focusing on hiring, onboarding, and maintaining operational health
Required qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as an Engineering Manager for a highly technical team
- Proven track record in managing production on-call rotations and ensuring operational health
- Experience with software deployment in environments such as on-prem, private cloud, or managed single-tenant
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS, with the ability to engage in design reviews and incident discussions
- Comfort in customer-facing roles, particularly with enterprise clients regarding security and procurement processes
