Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional engineering team, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will remain a hands-on contributor while overseeing technical decisions, driving AI-native development practices, and collaborating closely with Product, Operations, and Data in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of engineers across multiple product domains, focusing on velocity, process, and team culture
• Write production code and lead design reviews while ensuring engineering standards are defined and enforced
• Drive the team's AI-native operating model by integrating AI tools into engineering workflows and coaching engineers on their use

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams in a startup environment
• Genuine AI-native fluency with experience deploying AI agents in production workflows
• Active technical contributor with strong engineering fundamentals in modern backend or full-stack languages
• Experience in a scaling healthcare technology company is a strong plus
• Strong cross-functional instincts with the ability to negotiate scope effectively with Product and Operations
